this is one of the first videos that I actually enjoyed making and watching on my channel, why I believe that is because the Angry Birds Iceberg was not scripted at all and that caused it to be a train wreck. I still believe that there are some huge problems in the video, including but not only limited my narration over the entire thing. Usually I'm energetic, but the problem was is that I was already bummed out by the script so I just read it when I was very tired. And I generally think that the video was lacking of my editing power mainly because I was focusing the project on a 2012 MacBook. I didn't define the rise in the fall of Annoying Orange at all. Of course my final regret was linking to somebody which I didn't fully know of which was DaftPina, a person which seemed like they had a great video but after looking at them months after I just felt terrible for using him as a source because of how terrible he is.
Throughout the entire video process, I had this idea in my mind that I wanted to show annoying orange going in a downward spiral à la EmpLemon. So during late 2020 I started the script on the video. Then in a mix of early 2021 to mid 2021 I recorded it. Then you're the end of 2021 I focused all my work on editing this video, which took me June, July, and August to fully finish the project because of how laggy my computer was. So as a little treat I uploaded it on my birthday with a few extra things added after.
Now there were definitely a few deleted segments during the video process and some rejected concepts as well. Originally one of these segments was going to talk about all the Annoying Orange games on mobile phones, if you don't know there are mobile phone games of the Annoying Orange which had released in the early 2010s. This would have been Carnage and Splatter UP! Although the games are free on the App Store. I had to think to myself if they should've been included in the final product, mainly because of its relation to the rise and fall. I decided against it at the end and remove the scenes completely.
Another deleted segment was going to be looking in depth on the TV show even more, mainly because around 20 of them are on YouTube for free. The original idea was to watch all 60 episodes of the entire series. This was altered because I really didn't have a lot of time to make this video which is funny to say because I don't have any deadlines or anything when making videos. But the other reason was because I did not want to spend over $50 on Annoying Orange content
Do you remember when I said that that a certain amount of likes I would actually review the side channels like annoying orange kids and annoying orange gaming, well originally I was going to make extended segments on those but I decided against it mainly because it was just so huge of a topic especially relating to basic dead air. To be honest to you, I think I saved myself at the end by saying that and only giving like a five minute summary of annoying orange gaming and shortly talking about the other channels. Because if I were to talk about them all day I would literally be brain dead by the end of the video.
This was gonna be a mix of other things but I was going to make a rise and fall for every single small series the channel had made, but I decided against it mainly because it would've been boring to mention the same point over and over with the new reasons being shown, which could easily be mentioned throughout random points of the video.
the final deleted segment was briefly shown in the trailer of the video, and it was going to talk about this video. This was very fitting because of how it basically showed their demographic in a simplistic manner. I mean think of it, it talks about a huge fast food chain in the US, Plus the word challenge would make it very fitting! And originally I was going to review this but it never actually got in because I never recorded it, plus it was ultimately scrapped due to the factor of me mentioning so many challenge videos already.
One thing which I'm not really fond of with this video is the tremendous amount of errors, although some or less notable, others are definitely very bleeding, such as audio overlapping, green screen, checking, and more. The only guess that I have overseen some of these errors is expecting the Mac version of iMovie to work properly.
Now some factors which I would love to highlight is the video editing throughout this entire video because it actually kind of took in a different place compared to any other video before it. Especially it's intro, so I wanted to highlight some elements of it!
For some reason iMovie doesn't have a center feature for their image options, so I had to use Photoshop Mix so I could center it perfectly. Plus the spinning spiral illusion also added the sense of feeling that everyone is closing onto you, kind of like if a pile of rocks collapses onto you if you get what I mean.
Yet again another green screen, but as you can see here there were a couple errors in the splatter up logo.
This final part right here was intended for you to basically see that orange is kind of an illusion technically, an icon which is longer existent although more damaged every minute.
Can you guess what this images based off of, well it's supposed to be me but I kind of redesign my character so it actually kind of looks human so I made an image homaging to this masterpiece.
